Welcome to Devon County Athletic Association the umbrella organisation for Devon County athletic clubs. Devon County AA promote County championships in Track and Field and Cross Country, we also organise an Indoor Sports Hall league for young athletes and the Track and Field Devon Open series for all age groups 8 years old and upwards.

South West Open Council Session – SAVE THE DATE (Weds 12th November): Open Council Session – The South West Regional Council will be hosting an open forum via Zoom on Wednesday 12th November. This will be from 6:30 – 7:30pm and will provide an opportunity for clubs from across the region to come together virtually. The session will include brief EA and Regional council updates, networking and a club presentation. Please note that you do not need to pre book so please just use the link below on the evening to come and join the meeting. These forums will provide a supportive environment for individuals in the role to talk to each other and be part of a network of like-minded people. They give valuable time for Welfare Officers to get together, to share, learn from and support each other. They also allow England Athletics to hear from people in this vital role which will help us to understand what resources are needed to ensure Welfare Officers feel supported. Please can you make your club welfare officers aware of this and they can register for the forum by clicking HERE. Plymouth Welfare Officer Forum – In partnership with the Armada Athletics Network and Active Devon, a club welfare officer forum has been organised on Monday 1st December in Plymouth (Arrival from 6pm, session 6:30 – 8:30pm with food included). Clubs from the Armada Network will be attending and clubs from across the area are also encouraged to attend. The content of the forum will be similar to that listed above. Please encourage your club welfare officer to attend and to book their place by clicking HERE Age Group Changes Ahead of the age group changes coming into effect next April, England Athletics are hosting a series of online drop-in sessions over the coming months, to allow those within the sport to get any remaining questions answered, or queries clarified.
